The Star-Spangled Banner was recognized by the United State Navy in 1889 and by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916.  It was made our national anthem in 1931 by a congressional resolution signed by President Herbert Hoover. This arrangement was written for and performed by The Voices of Liberty in Walt Disney World’s Epcot.

Derric Johnson Series: This brass choir arrangement was transcribed by the vocal arrangement written by Derric Johnson. Mr. Johnson served as creative consultant for WALT DISNEY WORLD for 33 years where he arranged and produced THE VOICES OF LIBERTY, a featured vocal ensemble that sings daily in The American Adventure located in Epcot on the Walt Disney World property in Florida. He also arranged and produced the CHRISTMAS CANDLELIGHT PROCESSIONAL, Disney’s most popular live show sung during the holiday season.  Mr. Johnson worked alongside Walt Disney on a couple of projects as they created and produced vocal entertainment for Magic Kingdom.  For more information on Derric Johnson, please visit his web site: www.derricjohnson.com
