Carol of the Bells is one of the most popular songs performed during the holiday season.  This popular Christmas carol was composed by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych in 1914 with lyrics by Peter Wilhousky.  The song is based on a Ukrainian folk chant called “Shchedryk.”

Pomp & Circumstance

Is your graduation ceremony outside, or off campus … or are you looking for a new way to make your graduation ceremony even more special than it already is?  This Pomp & Circumstance arrangement for large brass ensemble was written for the 2013 Avon HS Graduation and was a HUGE hit.  Effective for the graduating class and their families & easier for the band director.  For an even more majestic introduction, have the opening fanfare played on Herald Trumpets, if they are available.

The Star Spangled Banner

The Star-Spangled Banner was recognized by the United State Navy in 1889 and by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916.  It was made our national anthem in 1931 by a congressional resolution signed by President Herbert Hoover.
